opinion

In our AXIS vol.145 to be published on May 1st, we feature poet Arthur Binard in the interview series “OPINION.” He came to Japan 20 years ago, and as a poet writing in both English and Japanese, he has made numerous literary contributions. HIs humorous, resourceful, and at times scathing words suggest that issue we Japanese have forgotten or willfully ignore should be brought out in the open. We visited him after he had appeared on a radio program at Nippon Cultural Broadcasting in Japan.

Under the article title “Language is the key as well as the trap,” Binard gives us the various view points. Please look forward to AXIS vol.145.
