In our AXIS vol.144 to be published in March 1st, we interviewed the German sopranist, Jörg Waschinski. He masters upper register thought impossible for male singers to reach.
As evidenced by his word, “I want to pursue an expressive technique only possible by sopranist living today,” his choice not to slavishly follow the road usually taken demonstrates the stance of an original creator.
