Creative talk session in AXIS gallery

On June 25 and 30, we had events titled “Creative talk session in AXIS gallery.”In this series, we arrange a unique pair of speakers, and would like to stimulate participant’s creativity by a big discussion.
The speakers are;
On June 25, John Maeda, President of Road Island School of Design and interface designer Yugo Nakamura,
On June 30, the famous molecular biologist Shinichi Fukuoka and designer Taku Satoh.
In each session, speakers offered very unique viewpoints. For example, what is seeing and creating for molecular biologist. How should be “design” defined from molecular biological viewpoints…etc.
In our AXIS vol. 141 to be published on September 1st, we will make detailed reports about these talk sessions. You will be able to find unique keywords and concepts.
